Written document by which IOC releases a marketing category to the OCOG, so that the OCOG may then commence the licensing process for that category. This document contains a description of the product category, express exclusions, and additional conditions and limitations of the release.

Все категории товаров и услуг, имеющие коммерческое значение (включая без ограничений спонсорство, поставки и лицензирование), остаются у МОК до тех пор, пока он официально, в письменном виде не передаст их Оргкомитету «Сочи-2014» по просьбе последнего. МОК по своему усмотрению принимает любые решения, касающиеся передачи (или отказа в ней) любой категории товаров или услуг, а также условий такой передачи или отказа в ней.

release of categories
All product and service categories for commercial (including without limitation sponsorship, suppliership and licensing) purposes remain with the IOC until such time as the IOC, pursuant to Sochi 2014 request, officially releases any of them in writing to Sochi 2014. Any IOC decision as to whether or not to release any product or service category and under what conditions is in the IOC’s sole discretion.

Если МОК оговорил передачу определенной категории товаров или услуг при условии своего участия в процессе продаж, совместная комиссия по продажам МОК - Оргкомитета «Сочи-2014» вырабатывает политику продаж и выбирает спонсора/подрядчика/поставщика/лицензиата в отношении данной категории товаров или услуг. Комиссия МОК -Оргкомитета «Сочи-2014» по продажам должна состоять из одного назначенного представителя МОК и одного назначенного представителя подразделения по маркетинговым программам Оргкомитета «Сочи-2014» и проводить неофициальные совещания по мере необходимости (с использованием всех современных каналов связи).

sales committee
In the event that the IOC has conditioned the release of a certain product or service category upon the IOC’s participation in the sales process, IOC - Sochi 2014 Sales Committee shall decide on the sales approach and select the Sochi 2014 sponsor/supporter/supplier/licensee in the given product or service category. The IOC - Sochi 2014 Sales Committee shall be composed of one designated representative of the IOC and one designated representative of Sochi 2014 Marketing programs department and shall meet informally, as often as necessary (using all modern communication channels).

Sales process in connection with the Sochi 2014 program shall be managed by Sochi 2014 unless the IOC has conditioned the release of a certain product or service category upon the IOC’s participation in the sales process. In the latter event and only in such event, a joint IOC-Sochi 2014 Sales Committee shall decide on the sales approach and select the Sochi 2014 sponsor/supporter/supplier/licensee in the given product or service category.
